Welcome to the Stoke-on-Trent and District Gingerbread Centre Website.

We are an independent Charity and Limited Company who have been doing innovative work with Homeless Lone Parent Families for 30 years.

Our main office is based in the Longton area of the City of Stoke-on-Trent , in the heart of the Potteries ; however we cover the whole of North Staffordshire.

Rothesay Court


Supports homeless lone parents, both male and female, their dependent children and single pregnant women. We do this by providing supported accommodation. The support provided is tailored to individual needs and can be short or longer term support. Support can be offered when some one moves into their own home.


Catherine Court


Supports teenage mums in supported accommodation and support in their own homes.

Gingerbread also provides a range of services in the community for Lone parents and their Children. We work closely with other organisations both statutory and voluntary.

On the 19th of October 2004 we held our 'Official Opening'. The ribbon was cut by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress Of Stoke on Trent .

The Stoke on Trent and District Gingerbread Centre is NOT part of the National Gingerbread organisation, though we do have close links with them.
