The Stoke on Trent & District Gingerbread Centre - 30 years of Supporting Lone Parent Families

The Gingerbread Centre is an independent charity, established in 1976. The present organisation grew out of a small group of Lone parents who formed a Gingerbread Support Group.

From these small beginnings - a group of Lone Parents trying to support each other, Stoke on Trent and District Gingerbread has gradually grown and developed into an established provider of specialist support services.

MISSION STATEMENT


To provide a quality service which recognizes and is responsive to each individuals abilities while promoting the necessary skills to assist lone parent families and single pregnant women to develop independence and confidence to acquire a better quality of life for themselves and their children.
